Karen Bridges Ryan
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, May 24, 2014, Karen Bridges Ryan, 57, wife of John R. Ryan.
Mrs. Ryan was a Registered Nurse. She worked with the VA Hospital in Augusta for 19 years. She also worked as the Associate Director of Nursing for the Paralyzed Veterans of America in Washington, D.C.
In addition to her husband, family members include brother: Michael Bridges of Chantilly, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty Bridges, formerly of St. Petersburg, FL.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 4:00 P.M.
