WORCESTER-Dorothy M. (Richards) Tellier, 78, of 485 Grove Street, died Friday, March 22nd in Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after a long illness attributed to smoking. Her ex-husband Joseph L. Tellier died in 1987. She leaves 2 sons, James J. and Joseph P. Tellier and 2 daughters, Sharyn F. Harris and Susan J. Tellier all of Worcester; a cousin, Barbara G. Faford of Grafton; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. A brother, Harold L. Richards died in 1993.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Howard Richards and Frances (Currie) Stevens and lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and had been employed as a structural steel pipe welder for 25 years at the Smith Valve Corporation, retiring in 1987.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 26th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:30 until 10:30 the morning of the funeral.
