Jacqueline R. (Paiva) Hennebury, 77, of Hanson, passed away on Friday May 23rd in the Wingate at Silverlake, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Clinton J. Hennebury.
She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Joseph and Adalaide (Bowker) Paiva. Jacqueline was brought up in Whitman and a graduate of Whitman High School.
She has been a Hanson resident for 50 years, a member of the St. Joseph the Worker Church and a member of the sodality and the PPC Council. She was also a Eucharistic Minister
Jacqueline loved to travel to the beaches and watch the ocean on Cape Cod, she also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters, Maureen Lee of East Bridgewater, Kathleen Mary Elizabeth Hennebury and her husband Robert Shea of NC formerly of NH and Nancy Smith and her husband Kevin of East Bridgewater, her son-in-law Douglas Lee of Plymouth, her sister-in-law Jeannette Paiva of Bridgewater; also her grandchildren, Meghan Lee, Kaeleigh Smith, Kevin Smith, Peter Lee and Sarah Smith, also; step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Paiva, Jr.
Her funeral services will be held on May 28th at 9:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel followed by a funeral mass at 10:00AM in the St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Hanson. Burial will follow in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at 1:45PM .Visiting hours will be on Tuesday May 27th from 4:00-8:00PM.
