Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Edward Church at 9 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Obituary Information
Mrs. Mattoli died Saturday at the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Canosa d’Puglia, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rose Ann (Ianuzzi) D’Amico, she came to the United States at the age of 16. Mrs. Mattoli had been a resident of Brockton for 65 years, and was a homemaker who stayed home to raise her family. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
She is survived by 4 daughters Mary Ann Rose Mattoli Dorgan of Brockton; Elizabeth Mattoli of Brockton; Patricia Murphy of North Easton; and Janet Mattoli of Brockton1 son Richard Mattoli Jr. of Boston.4 grandchildren16 nieces and nephews1 sister Sabina “Sally” Spagone of Brockton and 1 brother Gennaro D’Amico of East Boston.
