Gloria A. Tibbetts, 79, of Milan, NH passed away on Wednesday May 21, 2014 at her home. She was born in Berlin, NH on July 14, 1934 the daughter of Clayson and Idel (Crotto) Vashaw and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Gorham High School in 1952 and had been employed by Converse Rubber Company and Altama Delta. Gloria loved family parties and enjoyed bowling, BINGO, playing cards, quilting and crafts.
Family includes her husband Alfred C. Tibbetts of Milan, NH; children James Tibbetts and wife Doris of Havana, FL, Linda Hayward and husband Ken of Bucksport, ME, William Tibbetts and wife Bev of Milan, NH, Lorna Tibbetts of Laconia, NH, Kathy Hawkins and husband Clyde of Berlin, NH and her seventh child, Dan “Jake” Tibbetts and wife Celeste of Milan, NH; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers James Vashaw of Venice, FL and Leslie Vashaw of Berlin, NH; sisters Pearl “Wee” Lessard of Berlin, NH, Sally Laberge of Dummer, NH and Evette Morel of Gilford, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Remember me with smiles and laughter. That’s how I’ll remember you. If I’m only thought of with tears and sorrow, don’t think of me at all.
There are no services at this time. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
