Dorothy Sue Marchant Evans, 85, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died November 8, 2004, at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, November 11, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday.
Mrs. Evans was born October 13, 1919, in Milan, Georgia to the late Jacob Ashley Marchant and Dora Olivia Yawn Marchant. She was a retired beautcian. Mrs. Evans was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Bethany Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Evans is survived by: one grandson: Jeffery Scott Evans, Fitzgerald; 2 granddaughters: Pattie Childers, Gainsville, GA and Ashley Bullard, Montgomery, AL; 4 great grandchildren: Christopher Childers, Van, Caleb, and Noah Bullard; 2 sisters: Lola Enckler, Atlanta, GA and Clara Deese, Dublin, GA; She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Vaughn Evans;two sons, Van Evans and Nate Evans; two sisters: Kathleen Dykes and Lee Mahar; and one brother, Nathan Ashley Marchant.
