Geraldine A. (Shine) "Gerry" Lockhart, 74, of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Monday, May 19th, 2014 in Boston, Massachusetts.
She was born in Methuen, MA., on November 21st, 1939, daughter of the late Jeremiah and Marjorie (Murphy) Shine.
Gerry was educated in the Saint Mary's Grammar School and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She later graduated from Merrimack College where she received her Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Psychology. According to her family she was an avid reader.
Gerry worked as a Parole Officer for the Billerica House of Correction for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her son
William P. Lockhart of Lawrence, MA
Her sister Maryanne and her husband Edward Clough of Haverhill, MA.
As well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Monday, May 26th, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Her funeral mass will celebrated on Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary's of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
