Edward W. Gore, 54, of Anderson died on May 15, 2014 at St. Vincent's Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born on May 15, 1960 in Anderson to Bassel and Viola (McCormick) Gore.
He was employed with Anderson Community School as a groundskeeper for many years.
He was supportive of the V.A. and served in the US Army from 1978-1981.
Survivors include his daughter, Candida (Jamey) Burrows of Chesterfield; Sister, Anna Taylor of Anderson; 2 grandchildren, Sereta and Conner Burrows; a nephew, Jeff Taylor; a niece, Trish Jones; and a significant other, Pamela Marvell of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bassel and Viola Gore.
A visitation will be from 2:00pm- 4:00pm on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
