John A. Fitzgerald, 52, of Medway passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Jill (Sutherland) Fitzgerald for 20 years.
Born in Worcester on January 31, 1962, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Guertrude R. (Quinn) Fitzgerald.
John was a resident of Medway for the past 17 years and formerly resided in Auburn. He graduated from Auburn High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology.
John worked in telecommunications at LoJack for several years and previously for Brooktrout Technology in Needham.
John enjoyed woodworking and working around his house and yard. He was a wonderfully positive person who cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Tyler Fitzgerald and twin-daughters Kim and Kaitlyn Fitzgerald, all of Medway, a brother Paul Fitzgerald and his wife Cindy of Charlton and a sister Diane Pitz and her husband Kurt of Oxford. He was the brother of the late Laurie Wunchel.
He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Sue Sutherland and two brothers-in-law, Rob and Kenny Sutherland.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10 a.m.
