Betty Jean Graham, 77

Dateline: Norton, MA

Betty Jean (Pryor) Graham, age 77, of Norton passed away in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Graham to whom she was wed on November 8, 1958.
Born in Pensacola, Florida on March 14, 1937, she was a loving daughter of the late Willard and Myrtle (Alford) Pryor. Betty grew up in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and was a graduate of Walton County High School
A resident of Norton for the past 47 years, Mrs. Graham had been employed at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for 25 years, where she served in various capacities prior to retiring
When younger and living in Florida, Betty served as a secretary for the Adjutant General of the United States Air Force; where she also met her future husband Joe.
Family was the focal point of her life. She was also an avid reader and a big fan of the New England Patriots. When younger, she was a loyal NASCAR fan and enjoyed attending races at the former Norwood Arena.
In addition to her beloved husband of 55 years, she is survived by her devoted daughters; Belinda A. Jolly and her husband Mark of Norton and Rhonda S. Silva and her husband Joseph of Moseley, Virginia. She was dear sister of Joanne Mathews of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and the late Eugene Pryor. She is also survived by her cherished 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, as well as 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, May 23rd at 11:00 A.M. in the Trinitarian Congregational Church, East Main and Pine Streets, Norton. Burial will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 22nd from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
