Suzanne E. (LeBoutillier) Tremblay, 67, of Goffstown, died May 17, 2014 at Catholic Medical Center after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on May 22, 1946 to John and Yvette (Salvas) LeBoutillier. She attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from West High School in 1964. She lived in Manchester and Goffstown for many years.
She loved birds and other animals and enjoyed reading and gardening.
Suzanne was a dedicated volunteer for the Town of Goffstown and the Goffstown School District for over 28 years. She served on the school board for 18 years including three as Vice Chair and four as Chair. She also served on many school board committees and was the board’s representative for Goffstown Television, the Capital Improvements Committee and the Budget Committee.
For the town, she was elected to the Budget Committee, the Cable Committee and Capital Improvement Program Committee and was a poll worker for many years.
She was an active member of the Bartlett Community Club for over 20 years and served as secretary for Goffstown Junior Baseball. She was also a Girl Scouts leader and taught CCD at the former St. Edmund Church.
The family includes her husband of 47 years, Adrien L. “Sonny” Tremblay of Goffstown; four children, Kathryn A. Tremblay and Cynthia Tremblay both of Goffstown, John L. Tremblay and his wife, Anita, of Mahwah, NJ and Andrew D. Tremblay of North Providence, RI; a granddaughter, Audrey Tremblay; a brother, George LeBoutillier and his wife, Nancy, of New Boston; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
