SALEM - Linda J. (Chalifour) Wronkowski, 67, of Salem, wife of Joseph A. Wronkowski, passed away Thursday morning, May 15, 2014 at the Salem Hospital with her family at her side.
Born in Salem, the daughter of the late James W. and Janette A. (Brault) Chalifour, Linda was a lifelong resident of the city, a loving mother and dedicated wife.
Besides her husband, with whom she would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 6th, she is survived by two sons, Joseph A. Wronkowski II of Madisonville, LA, Dan R. Wronkowski of Salem, one daughter, Kathy L. Smales of Danvers, six grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Jack, Angelica, Isabella and Thomas, four sisters, her twin sister Lydia Ouellette of Salisbury, Estelle McOsker of Peabody, Fran Schraeder of Salem, Debbie Toomey of Los Gatos CA, one brother, Jim Chalifour of Salem, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jean Mallard and June Call.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. There are no other services.
