Keene, Mary Jane (Cissell), 81, of Louisville went to be with her heavenly Father Wednesday May 14, 2014.
Mary Jane was a member of St Louis Bertrand Catholic Church & had attended the old Our Lady Of Consolation in the past.
She is preceded by a sister, Theresa Spalding; three brothers, Denis, Joseph & Robert Cissell and a great grandson, Andrew.
Survivors include her husband, of 63 years, Claude W. “Sam” Keene Jr.; five sons, Claude W. Keene III (Charlene), Richard F. Keene (Ann), Mark A, Keene (Vickie), David B. Keene (Phyllis) & Timothy L. Keene (Becky); a brother, Bernard Cissell; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren & 2 on the way.
A funeral mass will be held 9:30 am Saturday at St Louis Bertrand Church 1104 S. Sixth Street with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
