Madeleine Y. Drouin, 87, of Manchester, died May 11, 2014 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a period of failing health.
She was born in St. Ephrem de Beauce, Quebec, Canada on May 31, 1926 to Philippe and Emerilda (Viger) Drouin. She had been a Manchester resident most of her life.
She was a communicant of Parish of the Transfiguration.
Family members include her husband of 71 years, Henri L. Drouin of Manchester; six sons, Rejean Drouin of Laconia and Florida, Marc A. Drouin of Manchester, Nelson J. Drouin of Florida, Richard N. Drouin of Manchester, Renauld Drouin of Weare and Serge Drouin of Hooksett; two daughters, Micheline Pomerleau of Manchester and Jocelyne Gawel of Goffstown; 32 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; four brothers, Arnold Drouin of Berlin, Clermont Drouin of Gorham, Romeo Drouin of Concord and Clement Drouin of St. Ephrem de Beauce, PQ; three sisters, Laurette Fontaine of Hudson Falls, NY, Leonne Dubord of Quadeloupe, PQ and Monique Perrault of Lewiston, ME; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
