Gordon “Chuck” Kennedy, age 46, passed away suddenly May 5. Born in Saugus at the former Saugus General Hospital, he was the son of Ellen Kennedy and the late Gordon Kennedy.
Gordon was raised and educated in Lynn having attended the Lynn schools. Chuck spent much of his time residing in Florida. He was employed in the moving and transportation industry.
He enjoyed an active lifestyle and very much enjoyed riding his bike and lifting weights. Chuck was a true conversationalist. It would not be uncommon for him to be seen striking up a conversation somewhere in Lynn with friends and total strangers. He was an active man with a passion for life.
He loved his family very much as they meant the world to him. Chuck will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters Shannon Kennedy of Lynn, Maureen Kennedy Bergeron and her husband Leo of Middleton, and brother Matthew Kennedy of Lynn. Beloved uncle to Ryan Kennedy and John Wall, both of Lynn.
