Helen Mary Danahey, age 97, passed away on May 2, 2014. She was born in Montague, MA to the late John and Mary Shea. Helen was an accomplished organist and pianist and played regularly in churches as well as entertaining groups. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Danahey. She leaves two daughters Gail Prang and her husband Raymond of O’Fallon, MO and Linda Dever and her husband Jerry of Cordova, TN; one son Brian Danahey and his wife Diane of Longmeadow, MA. She also leaves 11 grandchildren , 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Services were held on Thurs May 8, 2014 in St Charles, MO. Burial will take place on Sat May 17, 2014 with a graveside service at 11:00 AM in St Michael Cemetery in Springfield.
