EAST BROOKFIELD: Beverly A. (Bishop) Hickey 77, of 122 Blaine Ave., died Monday, May 12 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
She was the wife of John G. Hickey who died in 1996. She leaves her brother George J. Bishop, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of E.Brookfield, her godsons; Paul J. Muise and his wife Susan of Dudley and Dennis C. Day and his wife Sandra of Millbury, several nieces and nephews including; Geraldine Pothier and her husband Wayne of E.Brookfield, Peter Muise and his wife Jean of No.Brookfield, Beverly Dougherty and her husband Frank of Southbridge, Richard Muise of Spencer, Kevin Muise and his wife Monique of Charlton, Scott Bishop and his wife Simonne of E.Brookfield, Nancy Bishop and her companion Mark Lapierre of Spencer, Deborah Lindholm and her husband Michael and Diane Day Gray all of Chester, Vt. She is predeceased by a brother Wilfred Bishop and sisters Pauline Muise, Irene Bishop and Shirley Day.
Beverly was a labeler and ticketer for TJ Max Corp. in Worcester for 25 years, retiring in 2001. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of George J. and Lillian (Cote) Bishop, Sr.
The funeral for Beverly will be held on Friday, May 16 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer, MA with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, No.Brookfield Rd., E.Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, May 15 from 5 to 7p.m. in the funeral home.
