Troy K. Ramos of New Bedford died Friday May 9, 2014 on his 47th birthday.
Born in West Point, New York, the son of Everet M. Ramos of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey and the late Shirley (Griffith) Ramos, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
Troy owned and operated Rayco Auto Body Shop in Middleboro for 15 years.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his father Everet and stepmother Dolores “Aunt Dee” Ramos; two children, Cameo Gonsalves of Manchester, NH and Troy Ramos, Jr. of Dartmouth; his siblings, Everet Ramos, Jr. and Raymond Ramos, both of New Bedford, Cindy Harris of Dartmouth, Michelle Waring of Raynham, George Malmberg of Las Vegas, NV, Stephen Ramos and Tajuwna Pryor, both of Colorado, Carol Bowen of Chicago, IL, and Linda Walker, Vivian Manning, Barbara Smith, and Doris Ramos, all of Texas; two grandchildren, Aiden and Lailah; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Cremation to follow and burial will be at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
