Obituary

Amelia “Millie” C. Lombard, 92, of Medway died May 12 in the Cornerstone Assisted Living in Milford.
Born in Brighton, April 12, 1922, the daughter of the late Louis G. and Eleanor (Grealy) Lombard, Miss Lombard had been resident of Medway for most of her life.
She was a 1939 graduate of Medway High School and a graduate of Boston University.
Miss Lombard had worked for the Bank of Boston for 37 years. She had been a Vice–President in international banking. She dealt mainly with China and Southeast Asia. Prior to her banking career, she had taught in Maine is elementary schools.
Millie was deeply involved with her Church, St. Joseph’s, throughout her life.
She had been a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court of St. Joseph.
She is survived by her brother Joseph P. Lombard of Medway and was the sister of the late Cecelia Barner and Mary V. Lombard.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 16 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street in Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
