HERDT, Dorothy Louise (Wood), of Winthrop, passed away at home on May 11, 2014. She was 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Herdt. Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Clement and Frances L. (Anderson) Wood. Devoted mother of R. Peter Herdt and his wife Janna of Idaho, Randall C. Herdt and his wife Michelle of Winthrop and Paula F. Wrenn and her husband Sy of Manchester, NH. and the late Leslie A. Herdt. Adored grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Thurs, May 15, from 9:30-11:30am. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Prior to her retirement, Dorothy worked as a clerk in the accounting dept. for Delta Airlines.
