Mary E. (Howard) Haynes a resident of Lawrence. Died on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Henry C. Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lawrence Mrs. Haynes was a graduate of both St. Mary's Grammar School and High School in Lawrence class of 1942. Mrs. Haynes was retired from HP Hood Company where she worked for 48 years. Mrs. Haynes was a former member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, where she was a member of the Mother's Guild. She was also a member of the HP Hood Quarter Century Club, and was a current attendant of St. Monica's Church in Methuen.
Wife of the late John A. Haynes, Sr. and is survived by her daughter Dorothy Maloney and her husband David of Londonderry, NH, a son John A. Haynes Jr. and his wife Linda (Lafrenier) of East Hampstead, NH. Also four grandchildren Kathleen Maloney and her fiance'e Brian Morrill, Sean Maloney, Colleen and her husband Stephen DiGiovanni, and John A Haynes III, one niece and one nephew, as well as several cousins.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 11:00AM in St. Monica's Church in Methuen. A burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
