Elena L. (Eleppi) Wells passed away peacefully at the Winchester Hospital on May 5th. She was 86.
Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the devoted daughter of the late Paride and Margherita (Ratto) Eleppi. Elena lived many years on Golden Avenue in Medford and enjoyed many friendships there. She worked for the telephone company for many years, begining as an operator and then becoming a Chief Service Advisor. Elena was a religious person and often attended Christian Science services in Winchester.
The beloved wife of the late Ward J. Wells and dear sister of the late Mary Fontana and Inez LaBonte, She was a loving aunt to Elena (Fontana) Amirault and her daughters Renee Contreras and Dana Amirault.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday May 14 from 4 thru 8 PM with a funeral service at 7:30 PM. Burial will be private.
