Jose Andrade (76) of Brockton died May 9th in the Braemoor Health Center, Brockton. He was the loving husband of Beneinda (Elves).
He was born in St. Catarina, Fogo, Cape Verde son of the late Augusto and Rita (Vieria) De Andrade and was a resident of Brockton the past 25 years. He was a clothes maker by trade. Jose loved traditional Cape Verdean music and dancing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons Alex of NH and Camilo of Fogo, 7 daughters Ximento and Nininha both of Fogo, Maisanta,Tiozinha, Tchalina,Carminda and Rosaria Andrade all of Brockton.29 Grandchildren ,2 great Grand, a sister Gustinha Andrade of Fogo.
Funeral services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St, Brockton Friday May 16th at 9 am followed by a Mass in St Edith Stein Church Brockton at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visitation in the Funeral Home Thurs. May 15th from 4-9 PM.
