Obituary

SALEM - Anna J. (Kanellos) Demeule, 89, wife of the late Albert Demeule, of Beverly, formerly of Salem, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Peabody.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Agnes (Pothier) Kanellos and was a resident of Salem for most of her life.

Prior to her retirement, Anna was employed as a bookkeeper in the offices of Parker Brothers Games, Salem, for many years.

Anna and her late husband Albert loved to travel and enjoyed the many trips they took with family and friends. Anna was a devout Catholic, contributed to many Catholic charities and in her later years watched the mass on TV everyday.

Anna was one of seven children and is survived by one sister, Marie Reeves of Blueberry Hill Nursing Home, Beverly, one daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Michael Crowley of Hamilton, one son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Naureen Demeule of Beverly, four grandchildren, Harmony Demeule Pini and her husband Rob, Lucas Demeule, Emily Crowley Park and her husband Jeramy, Jesse Crowley, four great grandchildren, Hanna Park, Ben Park, Michale Crowley and Madeline Crowley and many nieces and nephews

Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
