Obituary

Mrs. Denise L. (Amaral) St.Yves, of East Taunton, died Wednesday, May 7 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of David A. St.Yves. She was born 60 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Demus and Evelyn (Cote) Amaral. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Denise had formerly been employed in clerical positions for several area companies. She was a longtime volunteer for Taunton Youth Soccer, and was well known for operating the concession stand during the games. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, her pets, and helping her children and her friends. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish in East Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 3 sons: Christopher St.Yves and his wife, Shana Figueroa of Beavercreek, Ohio, Darryl St.Yves of Taunton, and Jeremy St.Yves of East Taunton; 1 brother: Paul Amaral of Attleboro; 1 sister: Janice Isidorio of East Taunton; 2 granddaughters: Clementine and Violet St.Yves, both of Beavercreek, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Tuesday, May 13 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Holy Family Church, East Taunton, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in Denise’ memory, which will be designated for Brain Tumor Research, can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place, West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA., 02445.
