Wilson, Doris of Wellesley Hills, formerly of Brookline May 7, 2014. Beloved daughter of the late Edwin Bidwell Wilson and Ethel (Sentner) Wilson. Devoted sister of the late Enid Wilson.
Doris was educated in the Brookline Public School system. She was a graduate of McGill University, Class of 1946. Doris was an analytical chemist and engaged in research for many years with Arthur D. Little, Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and Harvard School of Public Health. She was also an active member of the Appalachian Mountain Club.
Visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington Street, Wellesley, Monday from 11:30 to 12 Noon followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 12 Noon. Interment will be held in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
