Cheryl A. Rabideau passed away on May 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at the Longmeadow of Taunton Nursing Home. She was 67. Born on November 7, 1946, she grew up in West Bridgewater and graduated from West Bridgewater High in 1964. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edward J. and Shirley L. (Westgate) Grant. Loving sister to Charlene (Grant) Reid and Robert Reid. Loving mother of Karen Tate and her husband Jeffrey. Devoted grandmother to Adam, Jimmy and Kevin Tate. Loving Great Aunt of Breanna and Aleah. Special mother figure to Karen, Heather and Brian as well as close friend to many.
Cheryl's biggest joy in life was spending time with family, especially her grandsons, going to their school and sporting events. She loved music, dancing, amusement parks, haunted houses, Christmas and celebrating family. She was a legal secretary for many lawyers and also held her real estate license. She loved to meet new people and go new places.
All services at this time for Ms. Rabideau will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo St. Taunton, MA 02780.
A small memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date to be determined.
