Kalinowski, Theresa M. (Turner), formerly of Needham for 62 years. She passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Rutland, MA on May 6, 2014. Retired Education Specialist Comm. of MA and worked for the Town of Needham.
Theresa’s life long passion was genealogy research. She enjoyed and devoted 40 years of her life to visiting cemeteries, reviewing historical archives, and she was able to document 22 generations of her family tree. She is a contributing member of the Mayflower Society, and much of her research has been copied by others on the Ancestry Tree website and the Family Tree website.
Former wife of the late Joseph Kalinowski. Loving mother of William Kalinowski and his wife Jeanne Martin of Wrentham, James Kalinowski and his wife Donna of Needham, Karen Peterson of Rutland, MA; Joseph Kalinowski and his wife Lynn of Somerville, AL; and the late Thomas Kalinowski. Sister of Genevieve Broderick, Mary Pearson, Thomas Turner, and the late Charles Turner. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear aunt Estelle Melon
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham, Saturday at 930AM. Funeral Mass in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, Newton Upper Falls at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8PM. Interment Private.
