FALL RIVER… Gloria R. Hernandez, 78, of Fall River passed away May 7, 2014 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Ramon Hernandez and Regalada Rosario and had lived in Fall River since 1999.
Ms. Hernandez enjoyed going to church where she taught C.C.D.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Carmen Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, Iris Luciano and Minerza Luciano, both of FL, 6 sons: Felix Luciano, Jose Cotto, Luis Cotto, and Jaime Rivera, all of Fall River, Oscar Rivera of New Bedford and Alexander Diaz of CT, 2 sisters: Nitza Rosado and Zoraida Hernandez, both of Puerto Rico, 4 brothers: Ramon Hernandez, Alexis Hernandez and Wilfredo Hernandez all of Puerto Rico and Jaime Hernandez of Chelsea, MA , 40 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, May 12th at 8 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, 327 2nd St, Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton, MA.
