Grace M. (Wilbur) Nowland 75, of Needham died on Wednesday October 27, 2004 at her home after a long illness. Born in Boston Mrs. Nowland had been a resident of Needham for 39 years. Mrs. Nowland was the Office Manager for South Shore Mental Health in Quincy until her retirement in 1985 after 22 years of service. Grace was the beloved wife of Joseph G. Nowland. Loving sister of Albert D. Wilbur and his wife Marion of St. Petersburg FL and Irene Flanagan and her husband Joseph of Longmeadow MA. Grace is also survived by her 12 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church , Plainfield Township PA on Saturday October 30th. Interment services were held in the family lot at Plainfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Healthcare Dimensions Hospice 48 Woerd Ave Waltham MA 02451. Local arrangements were handled by the Eaton Funeral Home in Needham.
