Worcester – George D. Arnold, 70, passed away on April 29 at the St. Francis Nursing Center. Born in Worcester on November 7, 1943. He is predeceased by his father George W. Arnold and his step father Victor A. Renaud. George is survived by his mother, Rita (Vienneau) Arnold Renaud of Auburn; many loving cousins and very dear friends.
He attended Auburn Schools and Military Academy in Virginia. He was a licensed exterminator, having his own business. George was also a tile and floor worker and previously worked at Johnson Steel for many years.
Mr. Arnold loved sky diving, and was an instructor at the Orange, MA airport. He also enjoyed Sailing and fishing all over Cape Cod. George was an avid pool player and belonged to the American Pool Players Association. He also belonged to the Eagles Club in Worcester, the American Legion Post #317 and a former member of the Auburn Elks.
Keeping with George’s generous way, he donated his body to the UMass Medical School so that future Doctors will be well prepared for their life’s work. There are no calling hours and George’s ashes will be buried privately in the family plot in Hillside Cemetery in Auburn.
