Carmella E. "Mama G" Grassia, 92 of Medford, died Sunday after a brief illness in the Winchester Nursing Center, Winchester, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived all her life in Medford and was the daughter of the late Angelina (Vadaro) and Frank Ruocco.
Beloved wife of the late Anthony M. Grassia Sr. Devoted mother of Anthony M. Grassia Jr. and his wife Patricia of Medford. Loving grandmother of Brandon and Alexandra. Sister of Sam Rocco of Medford, and Pat Ruocco of Falmouth.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
