Louise J. Bernadotte, age 81, of Brockton formerly of Dorchester, died Monday May 5, 2014 at the Champion Rehabilitation and Health Center. She was the wife of the late Pierre LaBranche and the former wife of the late Dieudonne Blaise. Louise was born and raised in Haiti and immigrated to the United States in 1972. She had worked for Howard Johnson as a supervisor for 27 years.
Louise is survived by a son Daniel W. LaBranche and his wife Mirtho of Brockton, her siblings Tullia Bernadotte of Mattapan, Dr. Joseph Bernadotte of NY, Theresias Bernadotte of Dorchester, Romel Bernadotte of Haiti, three grandchildren Danisha LaBranche, Daniel LaBranche, Jr. and David LaBranche all of Brockton; a nephew Lionel Blaise and four nieces Marie Pierre, Dr. Mirvine Bernadotte, Atty. Medgine Bernadotte and Nadine St Phard.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Saturday May 10, from 8-9:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Following the internment the Bernadotte family would like to invite all that are able to please return with them to Generations, 81 Memorial Drive, Avon, MA.
