Obituary

Norman M. “Scotty” Henry, age 91, of Brockton, died peacefully Sunday, May 4, 2014. He was the husband of the late Helen R. (Hebshie) Henry. Scotty was born in Dundee, Scotland, son of the late Norman and Mae (Gellatly) Henry. He was raised and educated in Quincy and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 42 years. Scotty was a Navy veteran of WWII and Korea, and for many years was employed as a welder at General Dynamics. He was a member of the Carpenters Union and Avon Gun Club; enjoyed dancing with his late wife Helen; time spent with his family, and was proud of his Scottish heritage.

Scotty is survived by two sons Brian Henry of Whitman and Douglas Henry of Brockton; a niece Norma Rosetti of Quincy; his grandchildren Norman and Alyesha of Indiana, Sara and Tabitha of Brockton and Alex, Zachary and Maxwell of Whitman; step grandchildren Laura, Eric and Mark; great grandchildren Nicholas and Madilynn, and step great grandchildren Connor and Emily. He was the brother of the late Mina Rosetti and father of the late Norman Henry.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday 10-11:30am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30am.
