Obituary

Worcester: Marilyn E. (Terrill) Keyes, 65, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at UMASS Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her best friend and beloved husband of 40 years Richard A. Keyes, Sr.; a daughter Katie Keyes; her father Edward Terrill; mother-in-law Carmella Keyes; siblings Dottie Goodrich, Clare and Michael Nicholson, Bill and Peggy Terrill, Rick and Eileen Terrill, Jim Terrill, Kevin and Colleen Terrill; Terry and David Morin, and William and Joanne Keyes; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Richard A. Keyes, Jr., her mother Mary (Hines) Terrill, and her father-in-law Willard Keyes.

Marilyn was born in Worcester, graduated from South High School, and worked for many years as a repair clerk and dispatcher for the Nynex Telephone Company. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc parish and a long time supporter of Why Me Sherry's House, the Special Olympics and the M.S. Society. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, going to Hampton Beach and Foxwoods, playing bingo and yahtzee, and watching her favorite soap opera "Days of Our Lives". She was also an avid Red Sox fan.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church 570 Lincoln St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn's memory to either Why Me and Sherry's House 1152 Pleasant St. Worcester, MA 01602 or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society 101 First Ave, Suite 6 Waltham, MA 02451.
