Fraine, Francis M. of Green Harbor, Marshfield, passed away on May 1, 2014 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Mary (Tobin) Fraine. Loving father of Thomas Fraine and his wife Pat of Falmouth, Michael Fraine and his wife Ann of Naples, FL, Laurie Montuori and her husband Bob of Duxbury, Susan Diamond and her husband Mark of Boca Raton, FL, Jean Dacinski and her husband Michael of Duxbury, Jim Fraine and his wife Jenee of Yorba Linda, CA, Bill Fraine and his wife Dawn of Gibsonville, NC, John Fraine and his wife Linda of Naples, FL and Bob Fraine and his wife Karolyn of Valparaiso, IN. Loving grandfather of 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Son of the late Francis M. and Marguerite (DeCoursey) Fraine. Brother of Sister Mary Dave (Poor Claire Monastery, Jamaica Plain) And the late Jack and David Fraine.
Francis served in the US Army during WWII. He worked as a foreman for New England Telephone Company. Francis was a member of NE Tel Pioneers of America and a past member of Knights of Columbus Boston. He was the past Commander of the Green Harbor Yacht Club and manager for Parkway Little League and was a starter/ranger at the Green Harbor Golf Course for 25 years
Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Tuesday 4 to 8 pm. Funeral from the funerlal home Wednesday at 9:00 am followed by an Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St. in Marshfield at 10:00 am.
Interment will be held in Couch Cemetery.
