Julian “Buddy” Fiske, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, May 2, 2014, Mr. Julian “Buddy” Fiske, Jr., 87, loving husband of 53 years to Jewelle Fiske.
Mr. Fiske graduated from the Academy of Richmond County in 1943 and then was a 1948 graduate of Georgia Tech. Out of college, he started as a Plant Engineer at Fine Products Corporation and most recently was a Sales Consultant at Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Fiske was also Deacon Emeritus at First Baptist Church of Augusta.
Family members in addition to his wife include his children: David M. Fiske (Susie), Julie Berry (George), Chip Fiske (Joy), John Fiske; grandchildren: Jeremy Fiske (Taylor), Mandy Jenkins (Will), Martha Kate Hall (Jason), Kevin Berry (Whitney), Ray Smalley (Justina Anaclerio), Chiles Fiske; 4 great grandchildren; and his sister: Kathryne Hopkins. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Cox Fiske, and by his sister, Margie Stewart.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Storey Chapel of First Baptist Church of Augusta with Rev. Dr. Greg DeLoach and Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating. Burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be the George Ballantine Sunday School Class.
