Ares, Richard J. of Marshfield, formerly of Westborough, passed away on April 27, 2014 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Janet (Watson) Ares. Loving father of Andre Ares of Marshfield and Gregory Ares and his wife Ruth Anne of Rutland. Dear brother of Lola O’Mara of GA, Norma Richard of Athol , Addelard Harris Jr. of Athol and the late Lorraine Nelson, Michael Ares and Brian Ares. Son of the late Addelard and Rita (Chaisson) Ares. Richard has summered in Marshfield since 1961. He moved there permanently from Westborough in 1996.
A Memorial Mass will be held in St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean St. in Marshfield on Tuesday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Richards memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St.,
