Toomey, Deborah Virginia, 59, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Hazelwood Center, where she lived for 37 years. She was born in Louisville, KY to James E. & Doris (Schnell) Toomey. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Toomey. Survivors include her sisters, Patty Bevens (Al), Donna Toomey, Kathy Meehan (John), Peggy Alvey (Jim) and Gayle Pendleton (Allen); 2 brothers, Jimmy Jr. (Elaine) and Billy Toomey and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. The family would like to thank her extended family at Hazelwood Center, who loved and cared for her as their own throughout her life.
