Linda-Jo A. Demling, 49, of Whitman, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday April 29th She was the beloved fiancée of Edward Matthias of Abington.
Linda- Jo was born in Boston and raised in Whitman, daughter of Doris (Libby) Demling and the late Joseph F. Demling. She was a lifelong resident of Whitman and a graduate of Whitman-Hanson, class of 1983.
She was employed by the Gillette Company as a machine technician for the past 26 years.
Linda-Jo was a classic car owner and won many trophies at the shows with her 1973 Plymouth Barracuda. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney, playing bingo, baking and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed Christmas, Halloween and her birthday.
Linda-Jo, loved being with her family, her granddaughter and her cats.
In addition to her fiancée Ed , she is survived by her daughter Jessica Gabriele of Whitman, her mother Doris of Whitman, her brothers, Christopher Demling of Lakeville, Joseph S. Demling of Whitman, her sister, Jayne Reynolds of CA. and Sandra Demling of Ohio, her granddaughter JoLeah , her niece and nephews, Haley, Nicholas, Jacob and Aarin
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday May 2nd from 4:00-8:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St, (Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman.
