Davis, John P. of Hull, passed away on April 28, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Lois Davis. Loving father of Frank X. Davis and his wife Diane of Marshfield, Edward T. Davis of Marshfield, Joseph M. Davis of Humarock, William G. Davis and his wife Eileen of Marshfield, Mark A. Davis and Melissa Saraceno of Marshfield, Catherine E. Lloyd and the late Robert of ME, Diane M. Davis of Humarock, Patricia L. Davis of Humarock and the late John P. Davis Jr. Step father of Danielle Smith and her husband David of Middleboro, Ronald Eaton and his wife Donna and Gregg Eaton and his wife Linda of Rockland Loving grandfather of 24. Dear brother of Francis, Joseph and Paul Davis and the late Kathleen P. Broadley. Son of the late Frank and Kathleen (Hagerty) Davis.
John was a graduate of Woburn High School, class of 1950 and Stockbridge School of Agriculture. He was the owner of Standard Rubber Products in Hanover for 50 years, retiring 2 years ago. John was a very generous contributor to many organizations but the dearest to his heart were the carousel in Hull as well as the Wellsprings. John was a Korean War veteran.
Visiting. hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Friday, May 2 from 4 to 8 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3 in St. Christine’s Church, 1295 Main St., Rte 3A at 8:00 a.m.
