Obituary

Rose A. Fiorello passed away at home Saturday night in the company of her loving family. She was 87.

Rose was born and raised in Boston’s West End, the daughter of the late Nunzio and Margaret (D'Amico) Bonaccorso. A Medford resident since 1951, Rose was devoted to her family. She committed much of her life to the care of her son Leonard. She was active in community affairs and advocated for educational opportunities for disabled persons. She volunteered at the Hegner Center in Medford and was active with the GBARC. Her home was a welcoming place for all Rose loved to be with babies and children. In her heart was a special place for her loving grandchildren whose lives she cherished to be a part of.

The beloved wife of the late Edward Fiorello, she was a devoted mother to Christine R. Fiorello of Medford, Pauline Fiorello and her husband John Healion of Medford, the late Kathleen Fiorello and Leonard J. Fiorello. She leaves her loving grandchildren: Ariana Fiorello, Christian, Patricia and Domenic Healion. She is predeceased by her siblings, Ida Bellissimo, Josephine Fiore, Constance Caruso, Dominick and Salvatore Bonaccorso. She leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit Thursday 4 – 8 Pm at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, and again on Friday morning at 9 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
