Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, April 26, 2014, Mrs. Daisy Satcher Hampton, 87, wife of Mr. Carter E. Hampton, Jr.
Family members in addition to her husband include granddaughters: Deidre H. Chaknis and Kristen M. Hampton; daughter-in-law: Karen F. Hampton; and several very special nieces and nephews. Additionally, her two beloved best friends Teresa Leszczynski and Rosa Perry. Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by her parents: Walter L. Satcher and Mattie L. Satcher; son: Carter E. Hampton III; brother: James S. Satcher and sisters: Louise S. Hall and Constance G. Guhne.
A cryptside memorial service will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Park Baptist Church, 144 Douglas Drive, Beech Island, SC 29842.
The family will receive friends following the service.
