ROBERT E. “BOB” HARTELL, SR., passed away on April 27, 2014.
He was a retired employee of Naval Ordnance, a retired member of the Machinists Union, a member of (NARFE) National Association of Retired Federal Employees, a member of Shively Christian Church, and an Army veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years, Lois Jean (Allen) Hartell; children, Robert E. Hartell, Jr. (Linda), Gary J. Hartell (Brenda), Georgia Profitt (Bill) and Wanda Spears (David); 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 4- 8 p.m. Tuesday.
