Robert W. Wehlage, 68, of Anderson died April 27, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born January 23, 1946 in Muncie, IN to Raymond and Rosemary (Clark) Wehlage.
He was a crane operator 30 years for ABC Rail before retiring in 1996.
He was a member of Sons of Amvets.
He loved fishing, NASCAR, Boating and anything in the sun.
He is survived by his children Robin Wehlage (Steve Turner); Rod (Rene) Wehlage; Dana (Mike) Rigney; Angela Davis and Rod Heltzel; sister, Marsha Alfont; grandchildren, Gary Bicknell; Travis Bicknell; Calvin Turner; Michael Rigney; Megan Rigney; Haylie Rigney; Tanner Wehlage; Trey Wehlage; Cassidy Heltzel; Chase Heltzel; great granddaughter, Mylah Wehlage and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Colleen (Heltzel) Wehlage.
Service will be noon Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with burial in Jones Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the service at noon.
