TOBIN, Edward G. Of Needham, April 26. Beloved husband of the late Mary B. (Burke) Tobin. Devoted father of Gerard A. Tobin and his wife Michelle of Erie PA, Sarah T. McCarthy and her husband John of Canton, Kathleen M. Tobin of Canton, John H. Tobin and his wife Patricia of Crestwood NY and the late Mary Frances Tobin.
Brother of N. Mildred Zbinski of Belmont and the late Johanna Bourque, Margaret Norton, John P. Tobin and Mary J. Malcuit. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Ed was a graduate of Boston College Class of 1959, received his Masters from Anna Maria College in 1982, World War II Army veteran, active parishioner of St. Bartholomew Church, served as an Eucharistic Minister, member of the church choir, lecturer and taught CCD. Member of the Needham Retired Mens Glee Club.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave, NEEDHAM, Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday 3-7. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
