Mary Evelyn Crane Johnson, 80, of Griffin died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014, at Omega Cemetery. Rev. Dave Semones will officiate with burial to follow. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28, 2014, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Johnson was born on August 31, 1933 in Banks County and was the daughter of Ollie Crane and Della Wilson Crane, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Johnson, who died in 2001. She was a homemaker and enjoyed helping others and served at the Soup Kitchen and the Food Bank.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Celia Johnson of Douglasville; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Mike Wilson of Perry; two sisters-in-law, Helen White of Chula and Geraldine Johnson White of Omega; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
