New Bedford – Hilda Azeredo, 90 of North Dartmouth, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Royal Tabor Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of the late Humberto Azeredo and the daughter of the late Maria Jose and August Pimental. She was born in St. Michael, Azores, moved to this country in 1958 where she resided the rest of her life.
Survivors include her son: John Azeredo and his wife Cathy Medeiros of North Dartmouth, her grandchildren: Nicholas Azeredo, Brandon Medeiros and Kimberly Azeredo. She was employed as a stitcher until her retirement.
Her funeral will be Monday, April 28 at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held before the Mass from 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M. on Monday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
