SPRINGFIELD – Annette R. (Langlois) Gallagher, a longtime resident of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Genesis HealthCare in Westfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born in Springfield, a daughter of the late Ernest and Annie (Dumais) Langlois. She was raised in Springfield and graduated from the High School of Commerce. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond T. Gallagher, who passed away on June 1, 2013. They were married on July 2, 1949 at the former Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Springfield and enjoyed over 63 years of happiness together. She leaves her loving children, Holly A. Albertson and her husband, Charles, of Westfield, and Thomas R. Gallagher and his wife, Valerie, of Methuen, MA; and her three cherished grandchildren, Dean Albertson and his fiancée, Ashleigh Mulville, Lee Albertson, and Rachel Gallagher. Her funeral and burial will be private at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
