LOURIDO, Leonor of Woburn, age 86, went home to our Lord in Heaven on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. Leonor loved to sew, knit, cook and enjoyed working on puzzles. She devoted her life to her family and making a better life for them. After the death of her oldest daughter, Leonor raised her two young grandchildren, Nylia and Alphonse Arce. She was lovingly known as “abuela” or “grandma” to everyone who came into her life. Cherished daughter of the late Anna (Delarosa) and the late Jose Lourido. Former wife of the late Hermino Hernandez. Loving mother to the late Nelson Hernandez, and the late Nylia Hernandez, Elena Hernandez and Miguel Nunez and his partner Rosa Nieves. Devoted Grandmother to Nylia Berdecia and her husband Gregory of Arlington, Alphonse Arce and his Fiancée Melissa Kruse, Adianez Lynch and her husband Jason, Ariel Gonzalez and his Fiancée Nicole Slocum all of Woburn and Katy Hernandez. Leonor leaves behind eight great grandchildern: Damien, Isaiah, Hailei, Anthony, Jezmani, Anyela, Adrian and Chloe. Beloved sister of Ester Mojica (Lourido) and the late Jorge Lourido. Leonor leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Leonor’s life during visiting hours at the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant Street, WOBURN, MA on Thursday, April 24th from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, April 25th,in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Woburn
